Problem damp area by back door

    Posted 13 March

It is very hard to find companies who will accept smaller jobs. Especially if they involve damp. Kev came to look at the job and was prompt to send a plan and a quote. Communication with mark was clear and he was reliable and approachable. The work is of a high standard and wouldn’t hesitate to use Rainbow again.

    structural Steels, Plastering, Carpentry, Plumbing

    Posted 28 December 2024

From the very first on-site meeting with Kevin Viney of Rainbow Building Plumbing and Electrical Services we felt confident that our major renovation works would be in safe hands. And we have not been disappointed. Knocking through a load bearing wall in a Victorian ground floor flat to make an open plan space is a major task, and Mark Burns the builder and project manager, has calmly delivered our vision, as well as dealing with unforeseen issues along the way. Would happily and confidently have Rainbow help us in the future with any internal or external building works.

Complete refurbishment of a flat and garden landscaping

    Posted 09 October 2024

Rainbow completely renovated my one bedroom flat and landscaped the garden. They worked to an impeccable standard. The property is unrecognisable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Kitchen fit / Plumbing / Electrical

    Posted 20 June 2024

Hi there - we have just had our kitchen fitted by Rainbow, and I would heartily recommend them to anyone else in Brighton. They were super organised, friendly and easy to communicate with, got the job done quickly AND it looks really good! Definitely good value for money as well! Cheers Danny

A tricky job done with skill and patience

    Posted 01 June 2024

What was needed was the replacement of a corroded lintel with a heavy steel beam to prevent the collapse of a gable. It required removal and replacement of external bricks as well as a massive beam and it inevitably damaged the inside of the flat which required replastering and repainting the living room. Kev was always reliable and responsive in timekeeping and communication. His workmen were friendly and helpful. The cost was reasonable for the work required and done to a good standard, as indicated by the words of the building inspector who signed it off.
