  Mr Hemley was asked to use his imagination and skill to make best use of limited space in the design and construction of bookshelves, kitchen cabinets and an external door. He achieved impressive results with an energetic and focused approach. At all times he maintained close communication and was sensitive to comments and suggestion. Overall an impressive service

  Pergola Installation

  Richard was superb, our project was a wall mounted pergola installation. He was attentive and professional. Turned up when he said and I was extremely happy with his work. Would happily use him again not just for his quality of work which was 10/10 but also for his attitude. You need a carpenter? Call him. Very Happy.

  Garden shed erection

  Richard erected a 15x10 garden shed for us over 2 days completely to our satisfaction. No fuss and his attention to detail was first-class. We have no hesitation in recommending him. Great communication, as well.

  Building a pantry

  Really great service from Richard. Listened to what I wanted, helped solve the challenges and the work was excellent. I am delighted either my pantry - so much so I leave the pantry door open so everyone can admire it!

  Door hanging, architraves and skirting

  I would highly recommend R A Hemley Carpentry to anyone looking for a professional carpentry service. Richard was great from start to finish. Very polite and friendly, visited promptly to give us a quote for the work which was very competitive and Richard juggled his diary to fit us in at short notice. The work was completed to a very high standard and we’re over the moon with the finish. Thanks again!
