The remit was to build a single storey garden room approximately 3m x 3m including foundation excavation forming of external walls & roof & internal fit out. The work was completed within the time period, to a very high standard, & to our satisfaction. Communication was maintained through the build which avoided any unresolved issues on completion. Overall a very satisfactory outcome & I would have no hesitation in recommending this company in the future.

I needed a hole drilled through an outside wall as a last minute job. The plasterer and the spark were due the next day and I did not want to be cutting through a finished wall. Race contractors responded swiftly, realising I needed help that day and turned up and did a fantastic job for a very reasonable fee. Polite, honest, professional, competent and cleaned the mess up after. Highly reccomend him for such work.

After having an awful experience with unprofessional builders, Matthew came to our rescue and was able to rebuild our extension, professionally, reliably and at a very reasonable price...you couldn't ask for more! Matthew gave us a very thorough and professional quote and then once we agreed on a direction he got on with the work quickly and was great at communicating any issues or ideas that happened along the build. After finishing our new kitchen, he then went on to transform our front garden with a new lawn, patio and fence. We will get him in to do the back garden next!

Matt got the job done. He would find solutions to any potential problems and completed the various jobs we needed doing inside & outside the house, within a week of starting. Very hard worker, reliable, polite and tidy. Would highly recommend him!

Matthew of Race Contractors made a WHF office for us in the garden. The work was finished to a high standard and Matthew was a pleasure to have round our house. Punctual, polite and tidy.
