  Updating a period property

  Andy and Simon are a two man team. They are professional yet friendly, polite, and fair with their pricing. They are also very tidy with their work, and pay attention to detail to get the finish you want. I have a 200 year old property with electrics that have been seriously bodged over the years; Andy and Simon got worked speedily to rectify this so it was safe and comfortable for our family home. We have booked them in three times now for various works. I’m very happy with their work and would recommend them to anyone.

  New Consumer box fitted and EICR test

  Andy came and inspected my old fuse box free of charge and gave me a fair quote on the spot for the testing and the replacing of the box. The work was arranged for the following week and Andy fitted the box with minimal mess and advised me on what he was doing. His colleague Simon arrived later on in the afternoon and carried out the EICR test which meant a few light switches needed to be changed, which they replaced the same day. The work was tidy, reasonably priced and I would certainly use their services again if I needed any electrics doing in my house. Thanks guys!

  Never showed up...

  I was told, via email, that the electric shower I was having an issue with would be assessed before I made the decision to have a new one installed. That was three weeks ago but nobody came to look at it and my follow up email has been ignored.

  I’m being criticised by this individual for simply not attending this job. A job I said I’d try to get to. A job which constantly changed. It went from a faulty shower which I recommended replacing to a faulty shower switch for me to come and have a look at. I don’t know if this person’s who he claims to be and not a rival competitor.I don’t know where he lives. I haven’t even spoke to him. No time was arranged. No money exchanged. No work was undertaken whatsoever. This person is causing trouble, for what? Simply me not showing up on a maybe appointment? If I’m earning money somewhere else, I’m not going to go on some fruitless mission only to have more of my time wasted. After this day in question, I received one more email 3 days later asking if I was going to look at the shower/ shower switch. I ignored him hoping he’d go and waste someone else’s time. I’m happy to say I received no more correspondence until over 2 weeks later when you,Checker trade informed me he’s still waiting for me to go round his house? Take the hint, I’m not.
