  We needed panelling removing from one wall, replastering and painting back to plain white. The guys did an amazing job, had it done quickly and we appreciated their flexibility when it came to adjusting days at short-notice.

  DO NOT USE - Plaster Coving - 3 Rooms

  Day 1: fitter stunk of weed, had to leave as they forgot adhesive. Day 2&3: everything up Day 4: coving falling off the walls in 2 rooms, hollow in other. Instructed my builders to take the remainder down to prevent damage & injury. Issue: coving had not been prepared properly - not wet & no key on walls and ceiling. Moisture in adhesive absorbed straight into coving so did not bond with the structure. Day 5: Review on site. Promised to resolve. Phone call later saying they are going to leave it and not coming back. Shamefully blamed bullders for taking down their work. Left me high and dry

  Wallpapering, repainting and plastering

  We needed plastering, ceiling boards, wallpapering, painting of walls and woodwork and exterior work. Neville was an excellent project manager, visiting daily. The team were all skilled, often carrying out additional jobs we were not even expecting! They were all polite and tidy. Eustace, the decorator, is the Rolls Royce of decorators. His painting and wallpapering skills are exceptional and he gave us some helpful advice. His attention to detail is impressive. QDS are consummate professionals, set apart by the pride they take in their work. We are delighted with our new-look home!
