  Mike Durance - An excellent carpenter and joiner

  I needed a solid wood worktop fitted for our kitchen renovations. Mike promptly answered my msg. to him and called around the following day to assess the job. The following day he gave me a quote for the works which were very reasonable given the work would take a long full day. Mike was able to undertake the work at a date convenient to me. He arrived @ 8:30am as he said he would and undertook the work and completed it meticulously. Very very happy with his work. Well worth the £'s and I hope he'll return in the spring to build us a new verandah.

  Skilled, Efficient, and Reliable Service

  Mike and Brian did an excellent job repairing my sash window. They replaced four cords and a pane of glass with great skill and attention to detail. Their work was efficient, clean, and carried out with real focus. They were professional throughout, left everything tidy, and the window now works perfectly. I’m very pleased with the result and would happily recommend them to others.

  Repair & reglaze of 4 wooden sash windows

  Mike & Brian put new life into 4 very old sash windows that had become hard to open and close, and were in disrepair. I'm so pleased with their work and the end result.

  Woodwork replacement front of house, rot cut out

  Mike assessed the state of repairs needed to the woodwork, barge boards, house built in 1930s. Gave a quote for costs, came another day to measure. Came back soon on another day to finish the job with new wood and kindly primed the wood. He was able to take the job and finish it sooner than we expected and price came in lower than quote. It looks fantastic and a big relief. We value Mike and Brian's knowledge and expertise and appreciate that they look closely at the house and give information about the general state of condition in addition to quality work.
