  Great experience from start to finish.

  I have a rental property that had a range of building issues that needed fixing. Using Checkatrade I selected Phil based on his superb reviews, which I can thoroughly endorse. In the twenty years I’ve rented the property I can honestly say Phil has proved to be the best tradesman I’ve used. He was professional from the start: took the details, visited the property, sized up the job, made valuable recommendations, sent a comprehensive quote, completed the jobs and communicated to all parties throughout. To say I’m impressed is an understatement, I’d give him 11 out of 10 if I could.

  An absolutely awesome builder and guy. Very professional friendly punctual and tidy. He cleared up and put my room back exactly as he found it. He took an old radiator off the wall under the window and and moved it to the other side of the room. I can't recommend this guy highly enough. Not a con artist or rip off builder. Very reasonable estimates that won't break the bank. Perfect builder if you are working to a budget. He's coming back to do more jobs for me . I can't wait to what the rest of the work He's doing finished. I honestly thought chekatrade builders cost a fortune.

  What a transformation ✨

  Speechless — which is a rarity for me! The transformation Phillip has achieved in my living room is out of this world. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was always one step ahead of me, already thinking about tweaks and finishing touches. I’ve already asked him for a quote for the next piece of work. On top of his professionalism, hard work, and attention to detail, Phillip is friendly and approachable — I couldn’t recommend him enough.
