  Bedroom renovation in a converted Victorian flat

  I chose this company over others based on their thorough assessment during the quotation process and competitive pricing. I appreciated Jerzy’s knowledge of converted Victorian properties and his explanation of all the quirks that come with them before my renovation work commenced. The team was friendly, punctual and paid great attention to detail. I was kept regularly informed about the progress, and most importantly, the finish was exactly as desired. Highly recommended!

  This company have been a pleasure to deal with. They are reliable, professional, positive, tidy, fast, helpful- everything you would want in the middle of a change. In your house with all the moving around it causes. We now have a beautiful kitchen extension.

  Trustworthy, competent and professional builders

  We have known this builder for several years. They have successfully completed two renovations for us. One was the side return extension of a flat and the other was a loft conversion and kitchen extension. They are professional and tidy. Importantly, they finished the work when they said they would. We ‘lived in’ during both extensions and found them to be sensitive to the fact that it was our home. Builders have been loyal to Purple Brown with the majority working with them for 12+ years. We found them trustworthy and good value and would use them again.

  As an interior designer i expect a very high standard of finishing and i cannot recommend Jurek and his team at Purple Brown Building Services highly enough. He is an absolute pleasure to work with, great at communicating and very experienced in managing building projects of all types. He has carried out 7 projects for me over the last fifteen years from building a full apartment in a large industrial loft, to a four storey house refurbishment within a very tight deadline. His work is always of an exceptional standard and he is a pleasure to work, and always comes in one time and to budget.

  kitchen extension, renovation of rest of house

  Purple Brown did an excellent job extending and renovating my victorian mid-terrace house. The work was all done to a very high standard by expert craftsman, with a superb final result. I was most impressed by the care that Jurek and his team to advise me about the best solutions to problems encountered and also offered great design advice. Best of all, it was all done in budget! Highly recommended!

  Ground Floor and loft extension

  Purple Brown worked on our house building both loft and wrap-around ground floor extensions. Jurek was particularly good at helping us with pragmatic solutions that were in keeping with the level of design quality we were hoping to achieve.
