There was 22m of failed 4” Pitch Fibre pipe here, that we replaced with new uPVC. You can see in the pictures how far gone the PF was.. It was severely compressed < 2" / deformed, causing adverse fall on 9m of the run (with a belly in the pipe in multiple places); to the point the pipes were completely blocked. New uPVC surrounded with 10mm pea shingle to Building Regulations, with the joints all cemented to prevent subsidence. Rocker joints within 600mm of Inspection Chambers (Building regs.). All benching re-instated (waterproofed cement).
