We replaced the failed old gully and soakaway in this garage compound carpark, with a new soakaway installation. This was due to consistent flooding every time it rained. Initial checks showed the original gully emptied straight down into a hardcore filled hole, which was full to the brim with silt and debris, from decades of rain and car-washing. The new soakaway installation consisted of 4 x large 65T Polypipe crates, with a geo-textile membrane and 6”+ of 20mm shingle side-fill; to Building Regulations. Re-instated the surface as found / re-inforced all concrete with rebar (the old concrete had no re-inforcement)
