We originally visited this property to attempt to clear the blocked “drain” leading to a Soakaway, that flooded every time it rained. We discovered that it was where a RWP (downpipe) from the gutters above had been previously relocated, and a simple 2” channel was dug to the hole that was left. This was to take the groundwater, as it was the lowest point between the houses. We excavated and installed a roddable bottle gully, after clearing the pipe leading to the Soakaway (flow test successful). Re-instated the surface as found. No further issues since.
