  Avoid for woodworm treatment

  I had booked Prokil based on all the positive reviews on here but have since realised these are for the damp works they carried out. We had an absolutely disastrous experience with them for woodworm treatment and replacement of damaged flooring. I would avoid them at all costs for this type of work. The initial work was so dreadful that they had to come back another two times in an attempt to fix the works. Woodworm spray was applied to furniture in such a way that it damaged the furniture, while Prokil paid for repairs some damage was irreparable. The work done was half arsed and sloppy.

  Prokil are superb. Simon is a fantastic lead - the guys working with him have a lot of respect for him and I think that shows a really cohesive and quality approach. From the top down, these guys know their stuff and do a great job. They did a super job of damp proofing a basement and came back to asses what we thought was an issue - but no - it wasn’t - however the guys from Prokil took great care and trouble to check every possible issue - their work in fact was flawless. I cannot recommend them enough and would always go to them again for their service and quality work. Great cust. service

  They work impeccably to a high standard & clear up constantly

  The Brighton Prokil Chief surveyor Simon Hetherton visited my home sometime in early November 2025 after an in depth, informative chat with David, their office manager. I liked the fact that they had a accreditation with The Property Care Association and clearly everyone emphasised the good working practices and that they would take good care of my home whist carrying out works to repair an internal wall damaged by water from a neighbouring property. They were abs. true to their word & George who carried out the job over 4 days was excellent. I would use Prokil again & recommend strongly.

  Damp proofing work

  I recently had damp proofing work carried out on a rental property I have in Brighton. As I don't live in the area, finding a contractor I could trust wasn't easy, but Prokil made the whole process easy from start to finish. Everything was well handled, they kept me updated throughout, and the work was completed without any hassle. Would recommend Prokil to anyone needing similar work done.

  Great experience from start to end

  Great experience from the start from when the surveyor came out and assessed the work needed, timely report and estimates given, booked in quickly. The guys that did the actual work were great trustworthy left them with empty house, covered all areas and went above and beyond with removing items which I should have done 🥴 . Very pleased with the end result and how they left the property, thoroughly reccommend.
