  Chimney and roof repair

  They did an excellent job replacing the chimney and the damaged roofing tiles. They took the time to show me how poor the condition of the previous chimney was and clearly explained why everything needed to be replaced, which I really appreciated. The team worked efficiently, were very pleasant throughout, and made the whole process straightforward from start to finish.

  Did the job, disappointing finish and aftercare

  Had a fairly small job carried out, contractor arrived as scheduled, but had only booked in a day for the work which took about 4 days ending up stretched over a fortnight. The plasterers came out at 3 on a Friday in a bad mood saying they wouldn't have time to finish the job. They did, but the finish was really poor, and there was a lot of mess left. I mostly just did the best I could to fix the finish, but on one patch the plaster was lifting off the with the paint roller. I asked them to come back out and fix, they gave me a date then didn't show and no word, or reply to my emails since.

  Good and reliable contractors

  Hiring a contractor with no recommendations from friends or family can be daunting and stressful process. I trusted the reviews and ratings for Pro Build on Check A Trader and I am glad I did! Work was needed on our gutters leaking and some damp in our conservatory walls. Communication was great from start to finish. On the day polite gentleman was on time, worked effectively, cleaned after himself. We were delighted with the work carried out. Invoice was in line with quote and worked carried out. Reasonably priced Will definitely use them again :)

  Roughcasting

  Hired probuild to fix some exposed brickwork that was not roughcasted. They were prompt at coming out and very detailed and open about the work required, both providing advice and listening to concerns. The work took longer than expected to start due to some issues they had internally. As frustrating as that was, they kept communicating well. The job has since been done and was done to a high standard, the workmen were also great in their interactions with my nosey kid!
