  Lack of honesty, not fulfilling the sales pitch

  We had our chimneys re-rendered. The work was complete but they didn't fulfill their promise to replace some roof tiles hidden behind the chimney, which caused a leak into our bedroom post-contract. I ended up fixing them myself, after chasing them for months. We seemed to have a different team come every day, and some younger members broke our hose pipe connector and also the outdoor security camera with their ladder, without owning up, even though I heard a crash and I looked through the window and asked if everything was okay. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this company. They left a mess

  Chimney and roof repair

  They did an excellent job replacing the chimney and the damaged roofing tiles. They took the time to show me how poor the condition of the previous chimney was and clearly explained why everything needed to be replaced, which I really appreciated. The team worked efficiently, were very pleasant throughout, and made the whole process straightforward from start to finish.

  Did the job, disappointing finish and aftercare

  Had a fairly small job carried out, contractor arrived as scheduled, but had only booked in a day for the work which took about 4 days ending up stretched over a fortnight. The plasterers came out at 3 on a Friday in a bad mood saying they wouldn't have time to finish the job. They did, but the finish was really poor, and there was a lot of mess left. I mostly just did the best I could to fix the finish, but on one patch the plaster was lifting off the with the paint roller. I asked them to come back out and fix, they gave me a date then didn't show and no word, or reply to my emails since.
