I am extremely unhappy. The trader told me over the telephone that the price might be £150 but it would depend. He visited my premises, inspected the lock and then without consulting me began work. When the work was finished, he asked for £280. I consider that he should have checked with me before commencing work that would cost so much more than the initial estimate. I do not want to use this trader ever again and this incident has damaged my trust in Checkatrade.

Front door lock had jammed and couldn't be opened. I gave Jack a call and he had the door opened and replaced the lock within an hour! Very professional and friendly, would recommend!

Received a call within a few minutes and quoted for basic lock change. Arrive within 30 minutes. discussed options he could offer lock change new handles extra key. Even corrected the hinges so door didn't stick. Very friendly and quickly sorted. Would definitely recommend
