Fitting of new light pendants

Malik replaced two light fixtures in the living room and kitchen and did so very ably. He consulted throughout and had very good attention to detail, in particular with respect to ensuring proper alignment of the lights which was very much appreciated. I will certainly come back to him on other electrical projects in the future.

The electrician was slow to respond to messages and took a while to arrange an appointment, though he arrived punctually on the scheduled day. He demonstrated good knowledge of his work, but I was disappointed that he hadn’t reviewed the information I sent beforehand. This oversight led to delays as he spent time fetching tools and seemingly trying to use up the allotted time. I was also quite dissatisfied with his placement of the Kidde 10LLDCO on the ceiling, a very unusual and impractical location for this type of device. On a positive note, he did provide a report, which was helpful.
