  Effective damp remediation and neat work

  We contacted Prestige Coatings following a serious damp problem in our porch. Matt diagnosed rising damp from a damp course that had been bridged. The remedial work included a damp proofing membrane and injections, finished by re-plastering the affected area. This has proved an effective solution and has solved our damp issue. We were very impressed by Matt’s understanding and expertise in the area, and also with the quality of the finished work. After re-painting there is no visible sign of the repair. He is a tidy and careful workman and I would recommend him highly.

  Super work, genuinely a faultless job.

  Matt from Prestige Coatings gave us a better quote for a rising damp issue. From that moment on he was exemplary in his efforts and timing. He arrived on time, unloaded quietly and quickly, preparing everything he possibly could to keep the area clean, tidy and accessible. He always answered my questions politely and in detail; offering tips at the end to maintain the work he had done to the future. He did a beautiful job, clearly taking great care to not only do an effective job, but also to finish it well. Even now, his plasterwork is like glass or silk to touch. BRILLIANT WORKER. THANKS.

  Reliable, good quality work

  I first contacted Matt back in the early part of 2025 and provisionally scheduled the work. Unfortunately, due to a number of circumstances (none of them caused by Matt!) we had to reschedule several times - Matt was always patient and accommodating. The job actually got underway towards the end of end of August. Matt always turned up on schedule and was very professional and friendly throughout, with great attention to detail.....and always left the area he was working in very tidy. We are very pleased with the outcome and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

  Damp proofing

  Matt did a fantastic job damp proofing in hallway and lounge, and replacing rotten joists and floorboards, he is very efficient, hardworking, clean and tidy worker, punctual and kept me informed of everything, he even helped me find tradespeople for other jobs that I needed doing, I would highly recommend Matt and would have no hesitation of using his services again
