Our first time buyers sent a Damp proof company around to us who said we had rising damp in numerous walls in the downstairs. Geoff at Preservit Ltd came round promptly and carried out numerous tests using a thermal imaging camera, calcium carbide testing, salts test for nitrates and relative humidity problems and tests in dry lining. His excellent advice was invaluable and certainly put our minds at rest as there is no rising damp. He is friendly and approachable and exceedingly knowledgeable and I cannot recommend him enough. Gold standard service for a very reasonable price.

Geoff has done an excellent job and, most importantly, is impartial. The assessment was thorough, with different physical parts of the house analysed. Geoff also observed and asked questions about our daily routine to understand the impact of our behaviour/routine on the issue. Geoff was patient and shared as much knowledge as possible during the visit, which helped us get ahead and start making amends and plans immediately. The report is accessible and thorough while offering recommendations based on facts found.

Geoff carried out the work required very efficiently, cleanly and tidily. He is very pleasant to deal with and when he discovered additional work was needed he was willing to give an extra quote and carry out the work. The standard of workmanship is very high and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

Excellent work on damp proofing our living room and great communication throughout. Genuine service, and Geoff clearly wanted to help us sort the issue and find the route cause of the damp.
