    Thorough boiler service. Poor communications and large hike in quote for maintenance

    When servicing the boiler in November '24, PHS identified additional non-urgent maintenance. In July '25 had text to say our boiler service was overdue - which it was not. I said I was happy for an earlier service if they could update maintenance quote and (if £ ok) undertake the work then. Engineer arrived to do the service in August they were polite but said they were only servicing, did not know about anything else. Communication was poor and conflicting. The quote came after engineer had left and I was shocked that it had increased by 20% in the 8 months for the same scope.

    Amazing

    Engineers friendly and professional. I was amazed at how quick they fitted the new boiler, they worked really hard, the pipe work was left neat and tidy . They also explained to us how the boiler controls worked before they left. Very pleased with the installation of a new boiler. Would recommend to anyone thinking of replacing their old boiler.

    Excellent value for money

    After a thoroughly professional visit and quotation we contracted PHS to replace our domestic oil fired central heating boiler thermostat and controls , instal a new unvented cylinder, then power flush the microbore pipework. The work was completed within the estimated 5 working days, with one or two staff on site each day. Whilst not the cheapest of the quotes we received, PHS represent great value for money - no hidden extras, thoroughly competent and professional team and neat , tidy and cheerful on the job. Clearly demonstrating you get what you pay for. Strongly recommend this firm.

    A great Company for all your heating needs

    Very impressed with the fitting of my new combi-boiler & the safe removal of an old broken water heater. They turned up on time, got the job completed in only 2 days & were very professional in their work. They kept the mess down to a minimum & cleared up afterwards. I thoroughly recommend them & I look forward to using this company in any future heating work

    Excellent Experience

    From the first visit to review the sorry state of my system (parts of it 20 years old) I was extremely impressed. The quote was clear and well laid out, we discussed various options to amend costs whilst still getting a functional system and at no time did I feel pressured. In fact another option was suggested that let me save a few hundred pounds as well as add some extra features. I was able to book to have an entire replacement system in under two weeks. Brandon and Shane were very polite, extremely tidy and worked very rapidly. Very impressed.
