Downpipes Blockages are tricky nuisances that are undercover. We pump the blockages down the pipes when necessary, forcing the blockage to the end, then we eradicate the problem from there. This is also covered in a general gutter clean
Theres corners are common suspects for blockages. Once this is blocked the gutter has no chance of draining, the blockages easily form on these corners as it's the easiest place for debris and dirt o get stuck. We also cover this in a general gutter clean
Downpipes often go directly into the ground. These can be problematic as when they do get blocked, you cannot take the gutter apart as normal to unblock them, we generally have to cut the gutter open, unblock the gutter and add a new joint afterwards. These are generally included in the Gutter Clean
Often gutters sit onto of a grid which does not create adequate drainage for leafs and debris. However we always bring a selection of gutter parts and can normally fit this for you on the day of a gutter clean
So satisfying to clean, but the problem can be such a nuisance as the problem is invisible to the naked eye. This is included in a gutter clean
This joint is visibly a problem as you can see its all stained by the joint, which is evidence the water has been running through the faulty seams. there is also a screw inserted where a temporary fix has been attempted. In almost every situation the most effective / easiest way to deal with this problem is to have a new joint installed, we carry most standard sized with us. One of these fixes in included is a general clean, we would call this a 'Minor repair'
The section of the gutter is below the valley that forms between the roof. Moss accumulates very quickly on these corners and the blockage will mean the water in the rest of your gutters will not flow into the downpipes. This is an easy fix, a gutter clean will sort this out
In this instance a gutter clip has come loose. Best case scenario here is that the clip has come loose due to heavy rain or wind, however clips shouldn't really come loose if they are in good condition, so it is also possible it will just need to be replaced. This is a minor fix, included in the price of a gutter clean (plus materials if needed *normaly £5)
