  Incredible Service and a job very well done!

  In need of some repair work to the rendering at the rear of my property, I came across Portland Plastering on 'Checkatrade' and was very pleased indeed to engage their services. From start to finish, all aspects of their service were first-class in every possible way with excellent communication, helpfulness, assessment, pricing and quality of work carried out ...... absolutely faultless in every way!   Large 10' x6' window frame needed filling and skimming prior to new shutters being fitted

  Very professional team and work from initial contact, visit re quote and completion of work. A relatively small job but completed very quickly and efficiently, fitting in with my timescale. Will certainly use again.

  Threatening behaviour, completely unprofessional and distressing experience

  I arranged a plastering quote. The tradesman arrived early with no notice, then left without trying to speak to me. When I called back, my calls were rejected. After I complained, he called back aggressive, blamed me, and became threatening — saying “they know where I live” if I left a bad review. I was alone with my 3-year-old and felt very unsafe. I’ve reported the incident to the police. Absolutely avoid.

  We strongly refute these allegations, which misrepresent the situation entirely,no threatening language was used, and our attempt to return and complete the quote was met with hostility. This allegation is not only baseless but lacks any substantiation.

  Plastering in bedroom

  We had our bedroom re plastered recently by Dan. Initially we met Adam and accepted his quote which was very competitive. We were really impressed with Dan's workmanship. He was very tidy, efficient and kind. The job he did was very impressive, so much so that we are leaving the bare plaster without painting it because it looks so good. Thank you Portland Plastering.

  Quality work, competitively priced.

  We required a lounge wall to be plastered and the artex ceiling to be skimmed. The ceiling turned out to be difficult as it was uneven however Dan did an excellent job and it looks amazing. The quality of his work is superb, he's certainly a craftsman. The work took 2 days and he came back on bank holiday monday inorder to complete it for us. Particularly important as we had an electrician coming in to complete a re-wire. I would highly recommend this company, very professional, competitively priced and quality workmanship.
