Started off great, came and done some of the work, but then he added on extra part to the job after the initial quote, said he needed to come back and finish the job. Months go by of me trying to contact and eventually I just gave up and the job was left incomplete.

We sincerely apologise for your experience. Leaving work incomplete and failing to communicate properly is not acceptable, and we understand your frustration.
Unfortunately, though not your fault, but a lot of things happened on the lead up to Christmas and we were held back on a lot of our work. Then we took 16 days off over Christmas as my business partner was out of the country.
