Welcome to Point Appliance Care.

My name is Richard, I started up my company 27 years' ago. The "Point" is short for Hotpoint, as I was a Hotpoint specialist. These days I repair and carry parts for most makes of electric cookers/ovens and most Hotpoint, Indesit, Zanussi and Bosch siemans washing machines.

My aim is to repair appliances first time, same day, mainly only using genuine parts. I first started repairing appliances in 1986, 35 years' ago when I first left school working for a Zanussi agent. Then, in 1990 at the age of 20, I joined Hotpoint (which later became Hotpoint/Creda, then Indesit company, now whirlpool). Within 3 years I was promoted to a Senior Engineer and I left in 1995 to start up Point Appliance Care.

We also now sell spare parts, which I can drop off to you or can be picked up by arrangement from my home.

COVID -19...Due to the difficult times we are finding ourselves in currently, I just want to assure you that I will do all I can to fulfil your essential appliance needs. In all work I undertake I will be following strict government guidelines by safeguarding myself and all my customers. I have all the essential protective wear, and this will be worn before entering any buildings. I will carry out thorough phone conversations with you up to the point of entering so I can gain as much information surrounding your appliance issues as possible.
