No HW or CH. I repressurised boiler but couldn't get it to fire up. Plum-IT owner and apprentice came out & said that the 2 port valve controller was faulty. I could not understand how this caused the condition. I asked for a written explanation, but none forthcoming. We were charged for parts and for 2 hours work - despite about 30 mins being taken to drive the apprentice back.
I asked for my old controller to be returned. On inspection, the motor was fine, the microswitch functioned correctly, but the geared ring had been repositioned so it would never activate the microswitch.

We are disappointed that you have taken to social media to provide a negative review when this issue has been dealt with in correspondence between ourselves. As previously advised, all labour costs were agreed prior to our visit and the part which was replaced was in fact faulty. We have not been dishonest, have acted in a professional manner, and undertaken work which was required in order to resolve the issue you had with your heating and hot water
