  Ceiling plastered

  Mike came on short notice and plastered my bathroom ceiling after I had a leak everything was left spotless by the boys and now I have a nice new ceiling thanks Mike I’ve also asked him to come again on the weekend to fix another wall

  Awkward job after rewiring work

  I'd had trouble getting hold of a plasterer to repair channeled walls after electrical rewiring of the whole house, I think most businesses regarded the job as too fiddly and awkward. So I tried Checkatrade and Platinum Plastering responded and was able to fit the job in. They've done a great job repairing the walls and have been polite, punctual (mostly) and very reasonably priced. I'd recommend.

  Removal of wallpaper, plastering ready for painting

  The job took longer than expected and I was charged for an extra day as a result. Work began at 9am and finished before 3pm each day with a 30 minute lunch break. There are heating cracks in the finish because the radiator was not switched off. Water got into the electrics and tripped the electric off permanently. I had to hire an electrician at a cost of £314 in order to put it right. The plastering is uneven, unfinished and it looks like he’s plastered over wallpaper in a couple of areas. The job simply wasn’t finished properly.

  Hi thanks for your review I did come down at 9 your right as I had to get materials first thing and you txtd saying your glad it’s not earlier , and yes I had a 30min break to have lunch which is fair I think , I can assure you I was very careful around any sockets certainly with water , the extra day was because ther was 5 layers of paper and I showed you this and explained which you agreed %90 of the room was done by Thursday and I came back on the Monday to finish off not one thing was mentioned to me about you being unhappy strange ,my 115 reviews shows our standard thanks

  Dry rot in wall

  Excellent service. I'd never used checkatrade before and was a bit wary but Mike text asking for photos of the job, i sent them he explained what was needed gave a price he came out 2 days later and completed the job. All sorted would defo use him again and would defo recommend.
