  Professional job with honesty at every stage

  Mike was great, from start to finish so professional, courteous and kind. Mike helped to put me at ease from the initial visit and communicated what the job entailed costings and timescales, giving me options for the walls and ceiling that were related to my budget and although the walls were old and bumpy, Mike gave me honest opinions and managed my expectations accordingly at each stage of the job During the job Mike was punctual and professional, he kept me up to date with each step of the job, as I was working away Mike sent me daily updates and checked in to see if I was happy.

  Damp course and plastering

  I had a major damp problem on the whole of the ground floor, Mike explained the best way to deal with this and carried out the work quickly and efficiently. I also had to have the walls and ceilings skimmed, the difference in the way the house looks now is great.

  DO NOT RECOMMEND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

  I wouldn’t waste your time and money unless your happy with lumpy and bumpy walls, dents and holes in your walls, none level walls, wonky corners/edges of your rooms, cracks all over the walls, skirting boards cut badly, skirting boards not sitting against walls and cracked seals, broken plug sockets, ruined carpet, the list goes on and the photos speak for themselves. I was surprised at how many good reviews there are for this company considering how bad the job they done for us was. We are in the process of trying to get a refund to have another company redo their work. Full review on google

  Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the workmanship, as this is not the standard we aim to provide. When you raised your concerns, we offered to return and carry out remedial work to rectify any issues, which is our usual and reasonable approach in these circumstances. Unfortunately, this offer was declined. Without going into detail in a public forum, we do try to resolve matters fairly and practically wherever possible, and we remain willing to do so. We would still be happy to discuss this directly if you change your mind.

  Plastering in the toilet.

  I had two walls and part of a ceiling platered. Mike was a very friendly and professional guy, he has done a great job!. I will definitely recommend this firm to all due to the professionalism and reasonable prices 😀 👍

  Best plasterers ever

  Absolutely brilliant experience start to finish. Mike strikes straight away as very knowledgeable and experienced plasterer. Did my living room ceiling for me and that required plasterboards and plaster. Himself and his son Joe did absolutely beautiful job. Great price as well. Both guys super polite and genuine.. well recommended

  Great work-Plastercore

  We’re very pleased with the work completed by Mike at Plastercore. We had some damp issues and rendering needed to our front room. He visited us and was very friendly and helpful and gave us a reasonable quote for the work - Plastercore needed and the timescales involved. He completed the work on schedule and left everywhere clean and tidy. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Plastercore again!
