Paul from PJ Sweeps came to our rescue as a bird had somehow fell down our chimney and got trapped above our log burner. We had limited time as we’re going away the following morning. I found Paul through checkatrade and gave him a call. He said he’d pop over to have a look and wouldn’t charge me a call out fee but if some work was involved he’d charge me something then. He spent an hour cleaning out our log burner and then dismantled a plate, caught the bird (who was very relieved) which flew off. He only charged me £30 for his time which i was very very happy with.
