  Replacement Roof

  We met Andy through a recommendation who couldn’t speak highly enough of him and his brother and their work. Having finished our roof replacement- quite stressful given the rainfall over the past 6 weeks - Andy and Glenn kept us informed daily of their progress with pictures to save us going onto the roof ourselves. Nothing was too much for them, plenty of advice for other projects freely given. The finished article looks great. Professional from start to finish. The site was always left clean and tidy and they are very courteous in their manner. Highly recommended and will use again.

  Complete Re-Tiling of Roof

  Andrew Kent and team completely re-tiled our large house roof including new membrane, battens and velux windows with flashing kits. This was a ca. 1500 Double Roman cement tile job - fairly large. Took approx. 3 weeks with some weather interruption. We waited 6 months to post a review but there have been no issues, no leaks - it works well. This replaced a very poor previous job and ageing tiles/ridge. We would very much recommend.

  I found Andrew and his colleagues to be extremely professional and polite. The job was done on time without any qualms and I would definitely use Andrew again and would be very happy to recommend him to family and friends.

  Soffit, rafter and stepped lead flashing replacement

  We were kept up to date as the work progressed. The repair costs were as per the estimate. Quality of work is excellent. Very courteous and helpful employees - e.G when popping out to buy some lunch they asked if we needed anything picking up from the local supermarket. Highly recommended.

  Did turn up, even when reminded of our meeting. AVOID

  I called Petworth Builders and Roofers as they had 10/10 reviews on Check a Trade. Spoke to Andy the owner and agreed to show him the roofing job on three houses in Arundel. It was arranged for 'midday' on 11/4/24 and we made this date as they were working in Arundel. I arranged it so both my neighbours would be available to meet Andy and discuss their needs. By 2pm he hadn't shown up or called. I called him and it turned out he was in France. He offered to get his brother to come 'straight round', but by 3.30pm he hadn't and Andy's phone was permanently engaged, so I assume he had blocked me.

  Yes I did miss this due to a mistake in my diary I hold my hands up and said sorry and tried to rectify while I was in France I’m human I made a mistake.My signal (4g) was non existent out there and within an hour a negative review left I tried my best

  Re-roof

  Andy and his team have worked for us before and once again have done a fantastic job. The roof was a complicated one with valleys, hips, ridges and hanging tiles. The look of the roof is brilliant and in keeping with the age of the property. Andy and his team are so polite, quiet and tidy I can thoroughly recommend them. The estimate was kept to albeit that Andy and his team had to struggle with our dreadful winter weather and all the storms that went through. A real pleasure to have Andy and his team work for us. If you need a roof doing 100% recommended.
