    Dining Room Paper and Paint

    Andy papered the entire dining room over less than ideal surfaces, filled around the window as there were gaps from our dodgy DIY plaster job, stripped all woodwork and painted everything. He has made the room look amazing! It's so neat and you wouldn't know what that poor man had to fix as it looks like he just painted a freshly plastered room. It took him approximately 2 days to do all this work which was very impressive. We would recommend Andy without hesitation and will have him back in future (if he'll have us).

    What an amazing job Andy and his team have done in the house. It’s my daughter’s first house and it was in a state, now it’s looking beautiful and fresh. I honestly cannot express how happy I am with the quality of work, so glad I choice this company Perkins to carry out this mammoth undertaking. Thank you Guys.

    Filling of holes in walls/woodwork followed by emulsion and glossing

    My house had been rented for 7 years and was in a bit of a state. I can't believe how much of a change once Andy and Richard had worked their magic. They filled in holes, smoothed walks and painted. Work done amd cleaned up. Thanks both. I will definitely be booking them in the future

    Bedroom Painting

    We had recently had a lot of work done in our bedroom so Andy was coming into a bit of a mixed bag! We'd recently had it skimmed, but all the woodwork was covered in about 50 layers of paint from the previous owners with some holes in the skirting boards where we'd had the plug sockets lifted. The room is unrecognisable- he stripped the woodwork back, repaired the holes, prepped the plaster and painted. It looks absolutely fantastic and you can't tell what a mess it was to begin with!

I have been a Painter and Decorator for the past 13 years, first working for a local businessman and then building my skills up enough to start my own business as a sole trader in 2016. My own business, Perkins Painting and Decorating, has been successful with both domestic and commercial work with excellent reviews from customers and repeat business, which is a testament to my abilities. I currently have a contract with William H Brown Estate Agents in Chesterfield, and have subcontracted for Emeg Electrical Ltd in Chesterfield as well as to Walkers Painting and Decorating who has had contracts with Aldi. Domestically, I have a wide pool of regular customers which has grown from their recommendations through word of mouth to their friends and family.

From being a self employed sole trader, reliability and punctuality are key my successful business as well as demonstrating to customers that I am also honest and trustworthy. I work incredibly hard as I want all of my customers to be 100% happy with the finished product. I have received excellent reviews from customers which is a testament to my attitude towards my work and the passion I have for painting and decorating.
