They were quick to come out and provide a quote and then arrange to do the work. There ended up being more work due to the roof being in a worse state than initially anticipated (which wasn't surprising given it hadn't be well-maintained over the last 20+ years). They showed me the issues with the insulation under the roof and rotting timbers and clearly explained the additional work that needed to be carried out. This was all done quickly and I'm happy with the final outcome. I appreciated being kept informed throughout the whole process and overall very satisfied.

Delayed due to weather, however we were kept up to date and work started promptly. Carried out less than the time stated despite having to replace wood panels damaged over the years. Good value for the work carried out and no sign of any leaks after the rain we have had. Guys were good and made sure the roof and garage were not left insecure or exposed to weather overnight. Have no hesitation in recommending the company to others.

The team did a great job of getting the roof replaced and new guttering up. They noticed early on that the roof hadn't been constructed to expected standards (missing sarking boards), and explained the additional cost and time delay to rectify this, which were both entirely reasonable. The new roof was almost immediately exposed to two storms which it faced unfazed (although the scaffolding took a battering).

New roof: Pentland Roofing have done an excellent job. They were recommended to me by another roofing company who said job was too big for them. After my initial contact to quote for the job, they arrived on time talked it all through with me and sent through costings very quickly. Work completed much quicker than estimated as team of people working on project and worked right through a very hot spell. Came out on a Sunday to check everything secure when a storm predicted - really impressed with that. Good communication throughout. Highly recommend them if you need roof repairs.

This was a major piece of work, so we tendered the job, using an external builder to help. Pentland were the most clear and best itemised of the tenders. They also listened to what was required and met the specification. Communication from Ross and Dean was good throughout, and their team of six worked well together and proved them selves to be both competent and problem solvers. We especially commend Kris, the tiler, who worked with the clay pantiles. They delivered on time and in line with the quote and agreed extras. We are very impressed with Pentland and have already recommended them
