0 Unprofessional, Damaging Work and Intimidating Conduct, Do Not Hire

Conduct and work was unprofessional. He caused significant damage to our property. Despite prior notice of damp in the bay window, he arrived unprepared, used unsuitable tools, and delivered poor workmanship, leaving damaged skirting, uneven plaster, exposed scrim tape, and structural defects requiring full remedial work. Communication was intimidating and unprofessional, with pressure for payment before completion and refusal to respond in writing. Materials paid for were misused, costs were unjustified, and independent plasterers confirmed the work was defective. Outside of the usual remit of plastering, I contacted Mike to help with a broken bathroom light, he attending at the time he said, completed the job quickly with no hassle and no mess left behind. He will also be returning to carry out some plastering for me soon, I have used Penshurst Plastering for many years. Whilst plastering is the trade they are generally good at other things needed around the house. No more showering in the dark! Job location: DA4All you want from a good tradesperson. 1) timely and accurate quote 2) Turns up when they say they are going to 3) Does the job with little fuss and it's good quality Just had a wall, stripped and replastered from historical damp issue, and all of the above would be true, pleasure to deal with this company, fast responsive as well as polite and professional, good communication and quality work. Penshurst Plastering covers South London, Essex and Kent. We are a Checkatrade.com approved company. Our team are highly skilled and have 20 years experience in plastering and rendering. We pride ourselves on our high standard of work and competitive prices which we work hard to keep and uphold our reputation.
We work closely with our clients to provide a professional finished job. No job is too small, we can fix damaged walls and ceilings, brick up fire places, stud walls, dented corners and then board and skim walls. We also can provide the finishing touches to your room such as coving and skirting boards.
We work closely with other reputable tradesmen such as plumbers, carpenters, general builders and bathroom fitters to offer a wide range of services. If you require more than just plastering then please ask as we can take on the whole project.
We also provide internal and external flat rendering and painting and decorating services.
Our staff here work around when best suits our clients. From weekends, bank holiday or evenings. Just let us know what is good for you and we will do our best to help.
