  A day after we spoke Patrick started the job without any paperwork. I paid a 1/4 of deposit as job had started. He asked for more money to bring deposit to half the price of work or will not continue. I refused unless i got some paper work. I had to wait for 5 days before I got any paperwork. Refused to give any more money until the job had been completed as I could not trust him, and the way job had started did not look professional. He made a big mess in the middle of my driveway and front door. I had to get another company to finish the driveway and he is refusing to refund my deposit.

  Tarmac Driveway

  Don't really like leaving a negative review, but felt I had to in this instance. Tarmac Driveway by Patrick back in Feb 24. He gave me a 10year guarantee, however the drive started to crumble within a month of being layed. I have tried to get Patrick come back and repair for the last 3 months however despite promising to come back he never turns up. Now my calls and messages are being ignored. Not very happy since he has taken my money and I have a crumbling driveway and he doesn't appear to want to do anything about it.

  Initially, the experience was good - flexible approach and able to start work very quickly. Good team of young men and a foreman. Unfortunately, there was a great deal of work that was not included in the initial estimate (over 2k) but we agreed to pay for extras. It looked like the work was well done but the finishing adjacent to the pavement was not good and when I queried this with the foreman he agreed to return and correct this at no extra charge. We then found one cobble had not been set in completely so I asked the foreman to return and correct this issue as well.

  Absolutely amazing job , turned out to be even better than I’d ever expected. Professional work from the beginning to the end. Cannot thank enough Patrick and his lads. You’ve transformed my garden into something very special. Great price. Thank you all for your hard work !!!

  Pavestone worked very efficiently and effectively from start to finish. The team were very courteous, hard working and always very respectful. They did a fantastic job on my driveway (after the first person I got did a really bad job). I wish I had used Pavestone from the beginning, as they completed the job in 4 days, whereas the first person I got took 5 weeks and it still was not finished. I would highly recommend Pavestone, they run a slick operation!
