Booked for a sweep and CCTV survey for two flues we wanted to fit gas fires in… After 5 minutes of rough checks, Paul explained I should just have open fires (which ended up being dead wrong) & needed an expensive chemical sweep. Went into borderline disrespectful behaviour disturbing my other contractors, speaking in a different language with them to my face as I waited to hear his results. CCTV didn’t happen despite it being booked and got roped into paying for the sweep… which he didn’t do!

Paul was extremely knowledgeable, skilled, with great attention to detail. He tidied up after the chimney cleaning so there was minimal mess. He was very easy to communicate with and reliable.

Extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and unreliable tradesperson. We paid £600 for two chemical treatments for tar removal, and he then failed to turn up on three occasions to finish the job, each time with no notice or explanation. We took time off work to fit around his schedule, and one of the three missed appointments was on a Sunday he had specifically arranged, which meant cancelling family plans. Reading other reviews, it seems our experience is not unique. I strongly advise you look elsewhere for a chimney sweep as Paul is the worst tradesman I’ve ever dealt with.
