We actioned the lead on the same day via whats app and we asked for information - type of oven etc and pictures. The customer specified that he wanted the job turned around within 1- 2 weeks. We stated that we could not fit this into his timescales. We let him know so that he could find another company who could satisfy his time scales. We do this with all checkatrade leads so that they are not wasting time waiting. The customer never replied and did not read our message so we assumed that he had looked elsewhere. We had no communication from the customer and no reply whatsoever. We left the job open a week and then marked it as lost. The customer was never booked in and he never replied so we did not even quote. If a customer says they want a turnaround of 1-2 weeks we inform them this is not possible to save them time. We give them our avaailability and then it is up to them to reply.
