    Refurbishment

    customer care is excellent and ideas to help the job along were spot on, taking out 2 dividing partitions to create light and room for example. The ability to work with other trades kept an order to work being done. Pats ability to pull plaster off ceiling or wall and leave it looking fantastic. To be able to ring Sarah about any timings or extra work makes life so much easier and we have had Pat come out to us on a weekend when other trades have left us in the lurch. Pat has done much work outside of just plastering and it is easier to show pictures before and after !

    Bedroom & Hallway plastering

    We needed a bedroom, hall, stairs and landing re-plastering and like most people hoped to have it done asap. Pat came recommended and we soon saw why. Within days he’d visited and started the work, making room for us in his already busy work schedule. Perfect tradesman who was prompt and tidy with an attention to detail, going over and above the norm to provide a great finish to our very old walls and ceilings. Very happy with the result and would not hesitate in recommending Pat, so much so we’re hoping he’ll be able to come back in the future to do more rooms.

    House Refurbishment

    Pat started the refurbishment project on my property back in December. He has been invaluable at transforming and updating my 5 bedroom house. From the bathroom rip out and new installation, to plumbing, plastering, painting & decorating, kitchen refurbishment, floor laying etc. His knowledge of the industry, his vision and his patience have kept this work moving smoothly, especially when myself and family are living at the property at the same time. He is professional, polite, friendly and extremely hard working. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.

    Plastered lounge ceiling & walls

    Pat was very professional, punctual and very tidy, which was important to me. I am extremely happy with the work he carried out, which may I add was also at very short notice. The constant communication and advice from Sarah was very reassuring. My lounge has a new lease of life!! I would not hesitate in recommending Pat Smith Platering. Hi, my name is Pat Smith, and I have been in the building industry for many years, servicing the local community in and around Bromley, but I also happily travel further afield.

Plastering is a skill that needs to be mastered and understood, and I have a real passion for it! Although I have found over the recent years that a lot of my clients are also in need of a good, reliable, trustworthy builder, so I therefore offer a professional building service as well, and am able to tap into a wealth of professional industry contacts.

This is family business, and it would not be able to operate as smoothly and as efficiently as it does without the help of my fantastic wife, running the back office. We pride ourselves on honesty, reliability, quality and value for money. We are aware of the customers’ needs and concerns and we are always on hand to offer advice and help.

It is important to us to reassure the customer and to make sure that the project goes smoothly and that everyone is happy and satisfied with the end result - half of our business is from referrals!

I have given my time in the past to help a family in need through the BBC DIY SOS Big Build programme. It was an amazing and humbling experience, and I loved every moment of it. Being able to help somebody less fortunate whilst having the experience of working alongside the BBC team was a real privilege.
