  Fixed a leak

  Thankfully last week Karl was able to respond quickly to a leak in our bathroom. Fixed the problem and we’re having him back to replace some radiators. Super nice chap and quality work.

  The guy came out to perform an assessment on a leak under the kitchen sink. After nagging about in the airing cupboard and breaking a valve, he made a sharp exit. Now a week later there is water gushing through the ceiling. I don’t know what happened but it’s funny how that started happening after he visited.

  I visited to give a free quote on a very basic job 2wks ago. I don’t believe previous plumbers hadn’t found your very obvious leak as stated. The work couldn’t have been started without shutting your hot water off via the already leaking stopcock. As advised, the leak was historic and evidenced by the calcium build up on the pipe below and the mould in the cupboard. I found the situation very odd which is why I took photos and have now forwarded them to Checkatrade. I have also provided copies of the chat and quote, neither of which you ever responded to, or made a direct complaint to me.
