    Chris installed an EV charger for us; he was very knowledgeable and professional and I would absolutely recommend him and will ask him again for other electrical work when we need.

    New power supply and fittings for outside garden room

    Chris at Optimus Electrics did a great job for us in fitting a new underground power supply, consumer unit and internet connection for our outside garden room. We were delighted with his work and the plug sockets, light fittings and electric radiator which he installed. It was very helpful that he sourced all the fittings for us and came up with some great suggestions like the remote operation of the outside light. The electrical installation certificate and building compliance certificate were sent to us promptly when the work was finished. We will definitely be using Optimus Electrics again.

    Chris was polite and completed a thoughtful quality job taking particular notice of the needs of the client. He explained his intentions in detail before actually carrying out the work. He cleared up well. I am well pleased with his work which was very reasonably priced and wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to others.

    Install a replacement consumer unit and new oven circuits

    Chris was hired to replace our consumer unit and install new circuits for the oven and hob. Chris was punctual, completed work as per the discussed schedule and quote. Throughout the process, he was friendly, reliable, and patient, taking the time to explain options and recommend solutions. I highly recommend Chris's services and will continue to use him in the future.

Optimus Electrics are experienced domestic electricians based in Burgess Hill, providing services throughout Sussex and surrounding areas. We are fully qualified with City and Guilds 2330 level 3 and trained to the latest 18th edition IEE wiring regulations. As a Part P domestic installer, we are members of and insured by the NICEIC, who are on the electrical safety register.

Optimus Electrics was founded and continues to be run by Chris Dewhurst, a domestic electrician with years of experience in the local area.

Our team always guarantee a friendly and high-quality service to all our customers. We know that customers often have busy schedules and so we work until the job is done in a clean and efficient manner, always ensuring you have the facilities you need back up and running as quickly as possible. Additionally, we will fit work around you and are more than happy to carry out installations during evenings, early mornings or weekends if required.
