  We asked James to decorate a few rooms in our house plus the hall, landing and stairs. We were so pleased with the results that we asked him to decorate additional rooms. He is reliable, very clean and tidy and flexible. Managing to work around bathroom upgrades.

  Avoid at all costs

  Trade came to redecorate our hallway. He used the wrong paint, which was the cheapest he could source. He painted windows inside and out using interior matt paint which had to be redone. He lied about the paint he had used when we finally managed to speak to him. Sadly, I’ve heard that he has done this to at least two other people. We have wasted thousands of pounds on work that needs to be redone. Not only would I not recommend trade Onwood but would tell you to avoid at all costs.

  I am sorry to hear this and am disappointed you feel this way about my work. I acted as instructed by yourself to elevate the property quickly to present for sale. My choice of paint was accurate to produce the results you required in the timeframe given.

  painting a UPVC front door.

  A very positive experience. He did a really good job and really cared about the job. He wanted to make it perfect. The front door is transformed and we are really pleased with it. He was also a really pleasant chap and we felt really confident in him.

  Great job of sash windows and bedrooms

  James done a great job giving our old wooden sash windows a restore & paint, looking good as new now. He also re painted our bedrooms a dark blue with white celling. Very please super clean lines, also refreshing to have a trade who leaves the place tidy after finished! Cheers!

  Bedrooms to be repainted

  James answered my request for a quote within 24 hours. His rate was very competitive and we accepted his quote. I struggled with colour choice and James was great helping me choose putting up samples . He really understood what colours worked . He finished the job a day sooner than he said and left the bedrooms spotless. Will highly recommend him .
