  Damp repair and damp proofing

  Anthony was so nice and helpful.

  Anthony was sent by Landlord to review mould in my room. He was very kind and helpful, was honest with the state of my room and offered additional assistance/help. Unfortunately my Landlord didn’t move forward with this but Anthony continued to offer further help if needed and went above and beyond to give me advice moving forward.

  Very professional team

  Had a damp course done by O Driscoll and sons. They done a great job for me. Very polite and professional . Everything was done on time and as agreed. House was left spotless afterwards. I would recommend this firm to anyone needing work done on their home.

  Damp proof

  The team is incredibly friendly and helpful. After receiving very high quotes from several companies and feeling unsure about how urgent the issue really was, I was relieved to find a company that took the time to thoroughly discuss the job. They clearly explained every possible scenario, which helped us make an informed and confident decision. Highly recommended.

  Disappointing overestimation, no survey paperwork

  Requested damp survey. Was informed that there was some minor damp damage that could be treated and replastered, no active damp problems/ingress points; was quoted a bit over the odds for the treatment but accepted the quote for the sake of speed and convenience - though requested a formal report in writing. Was never given a formal damp survey report in writing, only the quote for the replastering. Halfway through the replastering job, was pointed out that there were possible ingress points ongoing but would be double the original estimate to fix these. Plastering itself was high standard.

  To clarify, this was not just replastering. We had three tradesmen on site for three days. All affected walls were taken back to brickwork, waterproofed, a new DPC applied, re-scratched and replastered, with all waste removed and a 6-year guarantee provided. You instructed us to fix damp in the bedroom, not to carry out a formal survey, and the quote was agreed on that basis. Any additional ingress points identified were outside the original scope and priced separately. The job was completed on good terms, and we have since tried to contact you several times to resolve this matter .
