  Great Workmanship and Communication

  Luke replaced the doors throughout my flat, installed shelves and boxed in a cupboard. I’m really pleased with the results, it has brightened up my home. He returned a quote quickly at a great price and was very communicative and knowledgeable throughout the process. He finished the job in the timeframe agreed and to a great standard and quality.   Utility Room extension to kitchen.

  Oakhurst Building Ltd was chosen from three builders who supplied estimates / quotations for the building works, one of whom was recommended by the architect, because they provided the most detailed costed works specification. The work was undertaken in accordance with the agreed timescales and we were kept abreast of those additional, albeit minor, additional costs arising out of changes my wife and I made to the original drawing specifications. The building works were finished to a high standard and my wife and I are very pleased with the extension.

  Barhroom Refurbishment

  The project entailed a complete overhaul of the downstairs toilet/bathroom even to the extent of lifting and replacing the floorboards as well as replastering the ceiling, (Fortunately so, as an unbeknown hidden leak emanating from behind the old showerhead was discovered with the impacted joist needing to be replaced). THe job came in on time and within the agreed budget price with Luke and Pete showing great patience in overcoming problems emanating from the toilet and bathroom products purchased by myself in advance of the refurbishment work.

  Had a visit, waited two weeks for an estimate , however only received a 1 line budget, awaiting broken down costs from luke since however tried to contact a few times and can't get a response .

  Ceiling Repair & Plastering

  I contacted Luke after finding him on Check A trade to carry out some work at my dad’s property after a leak in the loft had caused damage to the lounge ceiling. I live 200 miles from my dad but Luke made the whole process extremely easy. He gave me a very competitive quote and carried out the work soon after. He’s reliable and extremely trustworthy which was such a relief as my dad is 85 and has the start of dementia. I have contacted Luke to do some more work and would highly recommend him.

  Window lintel & wall Repairs : Bedroom refurbishment and redecoration

  We are extremely pleased with the work Luke carried out for us. It involved significant repairs to some of the upstairs cracked lintels and an upstairs landing hall area and making good. One bedroom wall needed repair and plastering, installation of new radiator to shower ensuite then complete redecoration. Luke took excellent care of our built in furniture and everything was left clean and tidy upon completion. We recommend Oakhurst to anyone needing work like this and we will not hesitate to use their services again. Thank you very much indeed.
