  Neil gave good advice on what paint to use He was efficient and tidy I hardly knew he was in the house! Neil also made good after we had a leak down the walls and also repaired a very lumpy wall looked like new when finished I would certainly use Neil Smith of NSS again

  New stairs banister and gate made and fitted.

  Neil was a wealth of knowledge and help. He put my ideas into his creative hands and made a beautiful banister and matching gate (so the dogs do not go up ). He took photos at the end of each work day before he left and sent them to me whilst I was at work and explained what he did and what was left. I felt informed and guided every step of the way . My stairs have gone from eyesore to main feature in my home.

  Saved our house

  After a severe damp issue our house was in despair and we felt like giving up. Then we found Neil and he's single handedly transformed our entire downstairs with complete professionalism and knowledge. He's also fitted a new stair banister and now thanks to his complete kindness and understanding of where we were we now have hope. We couldn't thank him enough and would only ever recommend him. Will definitely be using him again as soon as we're ready to tackle the rest of our house.

  Superb Painter extraordinaire!

  Neil is professional, skilful, reliable and trustworthy. He painted our old kitchen cabinets, revitalising them. He also painted woodwork, a bannister and radiator as well as a ceiling. All exemplary. The original quote never changed which was most calming. He additionally used a marble effect Resin on our old kitchen worktops saving us time and money to replace them. They look amazing. Our kitchen looks brand new. Many thanks.

  House decorating

  Neil is a great craftsman and takes pride in his work. Like most we are very fussy who we have in the house and Neil was tidy, polite and unassuming. We were really pleased with the lounge, dining room, kitchen and hall that he decorated for us. Will be having him back to do some more work and can thoroughly recommend him.
