I hired Norman building for a carpentry job and was initially hopeful about his professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite providing my correct address in an email, he went to the wrong location on the agreed date. Instead of clarifying or double-checking, he assumed it was my mistake. Now, he is refusing to complete the work or issue a refund. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I expected better communication and accountability from a website-listed trader. I would not recommend his services to anyone looking for reliability and honesty.

We had Lawrence back to do more work on doors. Same great standard.

I contacted the company after a kitchen wall cupboard collapsed due to a failed fitting (the cupboard was fitted by another company many years ago). Lawrence attended the same day, made the cupboard safe by removing from the wall, and went off to get a replacement part. He then refitted the cupboard the same day. Excellent service.

Lawrence worked diligently and completed the fitting of the doors on time. I appreciated him clarifying the details and letting me know what was happening

I reached out to Lawrence because I needed an inner door installed in my house that I had recently moved into. Lawrence came out that very same day to assess the job and sent me a quote shortly after that. Everything was done with a fantastic level communication and I felt reassured from the beginning. When the work came to be done it was done to very high quality and Lawrence was great throughout. I would highly recommend him!
