I can’t recommend Neil highly enough. He did a fantastic job removing a load-bearing wall and installing a steel beam in its place. From start to finish, Neil was extremely professional, punctual and excellent at communicating throughout the project. He kept us updated at every stage, arrived when he said he would, and was clean and tidy while working. I wanted a pergola built in my garden so I contacted NH Building and Carpentry Ltd. I explained what I wanted, agreed a price and the job was booked in. Neil and his team were prompt, reliable and reasonably priced. On arrival, Neil took the time to ensure he knew exactly how I wanted it built and the end result was amazing! I would thoroughly recommend Neil and his team as I have used them several times from an extension to smaller jobs, and their work is always excellent.

Neil and Josh came to my house to install a media wall. They had travelled for well over an hour and when starting the job they realised that the goods (not supplied by them) were damaged and had to be returned. Nothing was too much trouble and they came back the following Sunday to complete the installation. I was so pleased with their work. The work was carried out with little disruption and they even moved furniture around for us and left everything clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to use Neil and his team again in the future and can 100% recommended their professional workmanship.

I used Neil for a tricky job around eight years ago, so was delighted to find that he is still working locally. As before costing of the job was straightforward. Even though my house is over 130 years old- there are always inevitable surprises and wonky walls- Neil managed to keep the job on track and finished on time. I’m very happy with the standard of the work, in this case was flooring, wall removed, insulation, skirting and random bits of associated woodwork. As a bonus, he is well connected and managed to get me a visit from a roofer within the day when I had been trying for weeks.

I had my under stairs fitted out with cupboards/ doors and shelves plus handrail with glass and a great job done!. All cleaned up afterwards. Niel also built a loft conversion for me at a previous property and again a great job done ( the building inspector also complemented on job done). So any carpentry work I ever need done I will always use Niel and he’s team.

Neil did a great job at my home recently. We had all of our fences, house cladding and a wall taken down inside along with new flooring and a few other bits and bobs. Him and his team are just a pleasure to have around and the work they did was exactly how we wanted it to a great quality. Neil always kept me informed and efficiently overcome several issues that arose after the work started. All for a great price too! Thank you Neil and team, highly recommend this company.
