  Don’t hire them

  I asked these people to cap proof my garden well to say I was disappointed. It’s not enough. They pulled all my flowerbeds they won’t mud all through my House. Until I said there’s an old carpet they could use their pricing was all over the place every time I asked for something different it was gonna be a lot more money. They said they would cut the hedge back to the trunk and cut 3 to 4 foot of the top when they didn’t do this they said it’s because I didn’t agree to the extra £600 when they dug the holes for the Fence post, I said I didn’t want them there they said well the holes have been

  This is a very disappointing review. We wouldn’t normally reply but this review is way off. Our pricing was very clear, and by message so should have been easy to understand. You were clear on your budget, so we worked with that. There was better options on the cat proofing, but understandably you couldn’t afford it, so we did the best we could with limited budget. There was absolutely no commitment on cutting the hedge as you couldn’t afford that either, but as a kind gesture we even cut that back for free. This review is genuinely mind blowing. Avoid this customer at all costs.

  Tim gave me a quote and a date to carry out the work in a timely manner, much quicker than other garden services. They carried out the work today and did a great job, tidying up, thoroughly, after finishing the work. Great service, will definitely use again. Thanks Tim!

  General garden maintenance

  Newleaf Garden Maintenance responded to our contact with Checkatrade and came to our home. They agreed to a 2-hour-2-person job which they carried out well. They then agreed to return for a further 2-4-hour job the following week. They did not appear, but apologised when we rang them, and agreed to another day. Again they did not appear. In spite of further telephone calls, we have not seen nor heard from them for the last 3 weeks. Such a pity as we were very pleased with the little work they did.
