  Consumer Unit Installation, Faultfinding and EIC

  Carlos at New Gen was fantastic. I don’t usually leave reviews but had to as he was so good. We needed some work done at our house at very short notice in order for it to pass its EIC so we could sell it. He worked tirelessly for two days straight and kept us informed every step of the way. Would absolutely recommend and will be calling on him again for any electrical work that might be needed in our new home! Friendly, prompt and professional.

  Kitchen socket fitted - like new

  I had noted there had been a problem with the faulty double socket in our kitchen. After filling in the details from the Checkatrade website, Carlos had immediately contacted me and arranged a visit to inspect the property, and to replace it with a new kitchen socket. He arrived on time, having regularly providing updates with me. Carlos was able to identify a similar replacement socket which was available for him to install. He is courteous and polite when explaining the issue and the service was done promptly and quickly. Overall - an excellent job.

  Changing of a light/ fitting a smart Switch

  From the very beginning Carlos was extremely helpful, guiding us on what parts we needed to complete the job, even taking the time out to call to make sure we understood what was required, this he done without even having secured the job. On the day he was punctual, and even as the job grew and changed (an old house will do that) he was good mannered and communicative. You'll feel that Carlos cares about the job and getting it done correctly for you. Would recommend, and I will be using again!!

  Dealing with faulty bathroom electrical fittings.

  Carlos of New-Gen Sparks arrived very punctually for a Sunday call out. Extremely neat, tidy, courteous and careful. All work was carried out with extreme attention to detail and careful explanation before and after to the senior citizen householder who will be employing him again. Carlos is clearly a very trustworthy family man and pleasant and friendly. He had all the clean tools and materials necessary and completed the job with 100% satisfaction and for the quoted price. I would not hesitate to recommend Carlos and New-Gen Sparks for any job huge or small.

  Rewiring a pair of antique table lamps

  Carlos did an excellent job in bringing back to life a very old pair of table lamps. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as he was extremely efficient, clean and thorough.

  Faulty electric combi oven

  The Electrician was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. We will definitely ask for Carlos’s professional services when installing the replacement oven. Carlos also made some very good recommendations which we will ask Carlos to implement when he installs the replacement oven. Thank you Carlos.
