  Installing fire break

  We reached out for assistance after receiving an "At Risk" warning for our boiler due to the absence of fire break around the flue. Communication with management via WhatsApp was swift and professional. The engineer installed a compliant fire break to ensure it met safety standards. The work was of good quality, and the engineer took time to clearly explain what had been done afterward.

  Failure of central heating system

  N McGregor responded quickly to my Checkatrade advertisement and soon gave me a description of the work they would carry out and a clear quotation. The appointment made was promptly kept and the work done considerately and in good time. It was clearly explained to me throughout and great care was taken to ensure that my system was operating as it should throughout the house. I now have fuller understanding of it and good advice. Very useful, as it appeared the problem had been caused by an error of mine ! Ouch, but thank you!

  We needed to change 4 taps in a property that we recently moved in. I do not think that our contractor expected such headache to change them due to poor previous fitting. He did it, took his time but was very good

  Repair to leaking toilet

  Service responded to my request quickly, contacting me via Whatsapp to make an appointment the following day. The workman arrived on time, assessed the issue and sought parts from a nearby store. Unfortunately, prior to commencing the repair, they did not turn off the water source. As a result, my bathroom floor ended up covered in approximately an inch of water. Multiple watermarks were later visible in the cieling directly beneath the bathroom. The waterflow was eventually stopped, and the repair was completed to a sufficient standard.
