    Decorating Landing and Stairs

    Mark did an outstanding job on the stairs and landing. I had water damage that had ruined the lining paper. He replaced this and repainted the whole landing and stairs. I am very pleased with the job. He goes the extra mile with his workmanship.

    Paiting and decorating

    Mark repainted a kitchen/living space for me which contained two very large victorian sash windows and 3 meter high ceilings. There was a lot of wood work around the windows and deep skirting boards, plus plenty of holes in the wall from the previous owners pictures. Mark completely transformed this room for me with his care and attention to everything from the windows to repairs to the walls. Mark worked hard, completed the job on time and is very pleasant to be around. Worth every penny. I will be using him again and can't recommend him enough.

    Internal and external painting.

    Mark from Mz did an excellent job sorting a plethora of small painting jobs and some larger ones, such as stripping and repainting a bathroom suffering from steam peeled paintwork. He worked, hard, stayed late, took extra steps in preparation when he discovered things were worse than we thought. He was also a very nice person to have around the house for a week. Thoroughly recommended, very professional.

    Bedroom and hallway total re paint

    Mark actually carried out this earlier in the year and I didn't leave a review as just too busy, but it deserves one. Mark completely repainted my bedroom, filled in woodwork gaps and made the room look absolutely fantastic. Also repainted the hall way upstairs which is also brilliant. I am always happy to take on an idea or change of plan from Mark and he tends to always be right! I would always choose Mark and would totally recommend anyone else to do so.

Hello, my name is Mark and I've been decorating and tiling for over 30 years and working for myself since 2000. I mainly work in domestic premises doing interior decorating and tiling. I tend to do small exterior decorating works, nothing too huge.

On the decorating side I'm happy just to paper a feature wall or the internal redecoration of a whole house to hand painting kitchen cupboards and furniture.

I also do floor and wall tiling, and lately undertaken a few brick slips jobs also lite stone (thin layer of real slate on sheets) , flooring, laminate, engineered wood, real wood, some vinyl tiles, small carpentry work (skirting, boxing in, stud walls, new window boards etc.) coving, dry lining, and many other jobs.

I always aim to finish on time, to get the finish look looking just right and I'm always willing to put in the extra time to get the job done. I feel by covering various trades it eliminates confusion and being dependant on multiple tradesmen having to synchronise to get the work done on schedule.I work to the rule 'would I be happy with that in my own house'
