This was my first time using Checkatrade, and I’m so pleased with the decorator I found. He was friendly, professional and incredibly helpful, especially as the timescales were quite demanding. The work had to be carried out at short notice and completed very quickly, and he rose to the challenge without any issues. What really stood out was his ability to project manage much of the process. He also brought additional skills beyond what I had originally hired him for and those proved invaluable as the project progressed. Highly recommend Matt. We had all kinds of issues with another trade letting us down and throwing all our timings out. Matt was flexible and worked around the other impacted trades so we could get our home finished for Christmas. Very friendly, very tidy and very good at what he does. We are delighted with the end result.

Mat did the most incredible job for me this weekend. I had been let down by a previous firm and Mat came to take a look and sure enough he delivered. The walls look amazing and I am thrilled. Mat took lots of care making sure the surrounding furniture was covered and the prep before painting was so thorough. I cannot recommend Mat highly enough - thank you!

Mat and George did a great job with our painting, 2 different areas carried out over 2 different weeks at our request. George was the main decorator and was punctual each day. Really polite and hard working and tidied up each evening before leaving. The painting has been completed to a really high standard and we’re really happy with the work. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Mat was great, he's a really conscientious chap and from start to finish showed a level of care and clear pride in his work, I had my hall landing and stairs de-papered, skimmed and then repainted along with the gloss woodwork and he did a fantastic job. Thoroughly recommended

Two bedrooms, one single, one double, needed re-painting. Old paper had to be removed from all walls, and many holes filled. The larger room ended up needing complete re-plastering before painting. Mat and George always take great care of the area they are working in, and they are consummate professionals, very skilled and they take care of every detail. Can't recommend them highly enough. Completely trustworthy and wonderful with our old dog who always wants to say hello! They did a wonderful job, and I would definitely hope to use them again.
