  Painting and tiling in kitchen

  Michael communicated with us efficiently, arrived promptly each day and worked very hard. He prepared the surfaces carefully and his attention to detail resulted in an excellent finish. The tiling was very professional, as was the fitting of new ceiling light fittings. The ability to do the latter two jobs was a bonus for us, not having to coordinate several workmen. Michael was extremely tidy and considerate, also happy to listen to and comply with our requests.

  Re-plastering stairwell ceiling and redecorating.

  Michael and his team replaced the stairwell ceiling, incl plastering and redecorated stairwell, hallway&9 doors Being a Facility Manager, I deal with many contractors, Michael and his team are exceptional, both in quality of work and workload. His team worked really hard ALL day, He is not one of these contractors that thinks the day ends at 3:30. His working day ends after 5pm and only when he is happy that all evidence of dust and debris has been cleared. He is also someone that obviously takes pride in his work as the workmanship was as good as any I have seen.

  Paint downstairs, staircase and first floor. Put up panelling.

  They repeatedly never turned up when they said they would. I had to continuously be messaging them to get any response. It took me eight months to eventually get my deposit back, only after I had started legal proceedings. I have been left out of pocket, and found this whole process extremely stressful and disappointing.

  I found MTM construction on checkatrade after an escape of water damaged some rooms in my house. They have been brilliant from start to finish. They came out promptly for a quote and they painted four rooms for me and the finish is amazing. They were polite, flexible, worked incredibly hard, tidied up, moved furniture and I really could not fault either the experience or the workmanship. Throughly recommend for painting and decorating.
