Mr Tiler told us the job would take him 5 days, he arrived on the Monday morning and began taking up the floor which he never completed. He then came back for a maximum of three hours to self level the areas where the underfloor heating was laid. Having done a maximum of 11 hrs work he sent a text to saying he wasn't returning to complete the job. The job he had done was substandard and needed to be redone. Mr tiler also took cash upfront and was not prepared to pay back a penny.

I took up 60m2 of there old tiles, supplied a sparky who done work there. I layed insulation board, I put down underfloor heating, then levelled the floor, they gave me £500 which covered all work I done plus materials. Unfortunately during kangoing all old tiles up my elbow gave way and I got signed of by a doctor and have just recently had an operation on, all this I have paperwork to prove, which I would like to put on this negative review. I'm very unhappy with this customer as they understood my situation with my elbow and that I physically couldn't finish the job, I'm a tiler not a magician. I know that the chippy and the sparky walked of their job, all my reviews have been positive when my body has been good but after 20 years of tiling my elbow needed an operation on I'm sorry for that but definitely don't deserve this review. They're absolutely happy with my work etc until they realised I couldn't get back to finish, I have text messages to prove this to.
