  Excellent family business, for roof/gutter work and general building, damp surveys

  Mick and his team did an excellent job. Arrived promptly, worked hard to clear/repair leaking gutters (front and back), secure some slipped slates, repair a flat zinc roof. Cain and Frances went above and beyond to ensure a decent job with good attention to detail. Cain is an experienced and skilled roofer. Mick did an expert job to repair some crumbling rendering. Most of these issues were identified in a damp survey carried out by Mick. Worked neatly, respected my property, and cleared up debris when job complete. Very polite and helpful. Pricing fair and reasonable. Recommended.

  Roof repair / chimney vented caps

  Mick was punctual and arrived the day after I reached out to come and look at the problem. Mick identified the problems and gave very helpful advice for other potential issues. Mick and team carried out the repairs efficiently and sent photos of the work which all looked great. Would highly recommend

  Local Family Firm. Reliable and Professional

  Professional, friendly, punctual and reliable. Local family firm. Gave written quote and organised a day to suit very quickly. Pricing reasonable. A friend had already recommended to me for damp work inside and out. He came with a machine to diagnose exactly where the damp was and could identify if any leaks . I recommend Mr R Construction.

  Best builder, roofer, damp proofer, general tradesman by far.

  I was lucky enough to find mick over 10 years ago, has done several jobs for me from building work to roofing, his honesty and advice is golden, and as long as he’s trading I’ll never look elsewhere..,Hire mick and the worry will vanish as you 100% know you’ve found the man for the Job, and he will never over charge, trustworthy, honest guy.

  Outstanding work by a skilled and professional team

  Mick and his team are BRILLIANT. He diagnosed the problems both inside and out, and suggested solutions to get rid of extensive damp, prevent it coming back and ventilating the house properly. He has masses of experience. Knowing what I do now, I would 100% employ him BEFORE buying a house to check it over. Lovely people - trustworthy, hard working, tidy and turning up on time for difficult work in cold weather. And really nice to chat with too. In addition, Mick gave lots of useful advice about the house - what jobs needed prioritising and why. Way exceeded expectations! Highly recommend.
